Best Summer Program for Kids 2008

Since School Ain’t Year Round…Yet

Generations of Santa Feans have poured heart and soul into this institution, which nurtures young minds with gentle introductions to bubbles, arts and crafts, worms, corn snakes and Axolotls. It’s no wonder the Children’s Museum has won so many times. The high attendance at the Annual Ice Cream Social attests to our affection—and of course we love that New Mexicans get the VIP treatment on Sundays with $1 admission. A newly renovated greenhouse complements the evolving outdoor space with its hidden paths, twig tunnels and sky-high forts that are perfect for imaginative, active kids.

Executive Director David Tesseo says, “The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is very honored to be the Best Of once again. We are extremely happy that so many children from Santa Fe and around the country have the opportunity to enjoy the variety of our programs during the summer and throughout the year.”
