Best of Santa Fe: 2008

The votes are in, and so is the video from the party

When it comes to national politics, we're betting many Santa Feans will vote for the "change" candidate come November 2008. When it comes to our annual Best of Santa Fe survey, however, readers mix it up. We've got some pretty big shake-ups this year (Hint: Check out the restaurant winners), but there also are some venerable favorites back to declare victory.

Putting together BOSF requires a huge expenditure of energy from all us here at the Reporter. But we also offset our carbon emissions; many of this year's interviews were conducted via telephone as we, like most of you, have been trying to drive as little as possible.

Also as a nod to our current gas/energy crisis, we feature several of this year's winners posed with a variety of alternative modes of transportation (and that includes stilts!).
