Now with a second location on the southside of town, this festive joint is only missing breakfast. For a quick, tasty lunch that sounds healthy but sates a growing boy, try a Tijuana Caesar with romaine spines nestled next to tortilla chips and cotija cheese. Custom dressing gives it the spice to propel you through the rest of your day and the busy cooks in the open kitchen stand ready to add chicken, steak, lamb, fish or shrimp on a whim. Most of Bumblebee's offerings can be likewise fine-tuned for picky palettes. If you're more in the mood to share with a friend, try a whole chicken, marinated overnight and roasted above an open flame to seal in the lime chile rub. Share with a party by picking up a fiesta platter of six burritos or 12 tacos. Bumblebee's isn't the best bargain around but the premium prices reflect the quality of ingredients and all the extra touches, like homemade corn tortilla chips and fresh salsas. It's also one of the few places to dish up delicious Taos Cow ice cream. Drool.
