Let's FORK!


We are in full green chile season. Take yourself down to the Hatch Chile Festival and celebrate in style!

The two-day event features contests, ristra-making workshops and a full menu of music and cooking events. There's a carnival, vendors and a beer garden! Full schedule HERE. Festival-goers can sample famed chile recipes, watch the crowning of the chile festival queen, or toss a horseshoe in celebration of New Mexico's most famous crop.

On Sept. 3 there is a 5K run. You can register with Amy Marquez at 505-644-3950. 

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday Sept. 2 and 3
WHERE: Hatch Municipal Airport, Hatch (Directions)
COST: $10 a car for parking


The Farmer's Market Institute's Fall Fiesta is Sept. 9! 

A locally-sourced dinner will be served 5:30-8 pm. The meal will be curated by some of the best chefs in town and include entry into the celebration afterwards.

Dinner will be followed by a community celebration from 8-10 pm that will feature drinks, appetizers and desserts. There will be music from Felix y Los Gatos. Entry comes with a drink ticket. After that all drinks are $5.
