Dragonfly School Closes After Less Than Two Months in New Building

School cites insurmountable repair costs

Beloved local institution The Dragonfly School, which serves children from 18 months through kindergarten, announced via Facebook today that they would be "closing our doors indefinitely (likely permanently)" after learning of insurmountable repair costs needed to stay in their new building.

The Dragonfly School was founded by Stephanie Smith in 2007, and moved into its new location on Agua Fría Street less than two months ago, according to the post. Smith also stated that she hopes to "remain a part of this beautiful community."
