Well, we made it! And despite whatever arbitrary hopes we have that all of 2016's sadness will magically disappear, we'll probably still have plenty to be sad about. Guess we'll just need to have more fun this year to take some of the sting out—that's straight science.

Frederick Spaulding Spaulding creates a sculpture using constructed and pre-made industrial ceramic pieces bound with steel straps. The piece represents the world we live in and its lawyers of mobile communication, construction and commerce. Find the mobile gallery in front of the New Mexico Museum of Art for this opening event. IAIA Winter Readings Gathering: Syreeta McFadden, Santee Frazier and Manuel Gonzales Best selling authors gather to read from their works during this week-long series. This evening features McFadden—a writer, photographer and professor of English at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Frazier—an IAIA graduate and Gonzales—author of the collection titled The Miniature Wife and Other Stories. The readings take place in the auditorium in the Library and Technology center. More Info >>
