New Mexico COVID-19 Cases: 15,028

State health officials report 492 cases statewide over the weekend and six additional deaths.

Over the weekend, New Mexico health officials announced 492 new positive test results for COVID-19: 230 on Saturday and 262 on Sunday. There have now been a total of 15,028 cases, 6,322 of which have been designated as recovered by the health department.*

Bernalillo County had 191 cases over the weekend, followed by Doña Ana County with 64 cases and San Juan County with 53 new cases.

Santa Fe County added 15 new cases over the weekend: six on Saturday and nine on Sunday. The county now has had a total of 337 cases, of which 150 have been designated by the health department as recovered.

The state also reported six new deaths: four on Saturday and two on Sunday, bringing the total number of fatalities to 545. As of today, 170 people are hospitalized, 12 more than yesterday.
