Santa Fe is known for many things: its history, its natural beauty, its art and, to a lesser extent, its fashion, which sometimes resembles all of the above. The more area-centric vestments that grace downtown mannequins can be called a lot of things, but let's just describe them as very "Santa Fe." And how does the rest of the world feel about the Santa Fe look? Using a crowd-sourcing website called fashism.com, we found out.---

Visitors to

fashism.com

either vote "I like it" or "I hate it" and the outfit gets a percentage based on that. Additionally, users post comments, moderated by the site to keep them from being rude, about the outfits, how to make them better and just fashion in general.

At random, we posted ensembles straight from four Santa Fe boutiques to see what the rest of the world thought of the clothes.  The reception was not so hot, but let's just call it a regional aesthetic difference (and this is the City Different, right?). Here's what fashism-goers had to say. (For more comments and to add your own, visit http://www.fashism.com/users/sfreporter/profile.)
