Two to Tango

If you haven’t checked out the Cocteau since its reopening, there’s a fresh reason visit: on Saturday, Steve Terrell and Gregg Turner trail-blaze the path to a new tradition: live music, Cocteau-style. Turner says both he and Terrell have performed “at the various coffee dumps in town (we’re not proud!) over the last couple of decades.” The Cocteau, however, is in its own realm. I mean, it’s home to Robbie, the Robot. “Steve’s very funny and a hard act to follow,” says Turner, who sings in the vein of Jonathan Richman, Tom Lehrer and Alan Sherman. But with song names like “The Pharmacist From Walgreens” (Enrique Limón’s new favorite tune), “I Lost My Baby to the Guy at Bobcat Bite” and “I’ve Become Flaccid From Eating Bad Acid,” both acts of the Turner-Terrell Tango are not to be missed. The Turner-Terrell Tango:
